Post by SuBaRiNo » Sat Nov 24, 2007 11:45 pm

Im begining to explore this angle now that i have the Supercharger installed.

Any particular brand/make/model aftermarket computer be best suited to a supercharger... i currently know NOTHING about these but this is where i want to begin my research.

A brother of a bloke at work got a group build on Megasquirt 2 for his turbo Rodeo, he was real happy with it. Can do on road loop tuning with it, can change point mapping and scaling real simply also, but may need a decent A/F ratio meter to calibrate. This is how they did it.

I would pay a visit to Tim at Sik Em Wrex in Mandurah, he installs Microtech, a big plus is they are well supported in WA and used extensively, and he has it dyno tuned as well and guarantees his work too. But it will cost as per any installation and tuning.
'03 Forester X, stock standard for now.

I thought Megasquirt don't work with EJ Subarus unless you change the cam/crank angle sensor?

I have used these for years. Note that they aren't a top of the range ecu but very good value for money.
