BBQ's Heart transplant

Post by Brumby Boy » Sun Jun 03, 2007 11:36 am

Hi everyone, this is my build up thread for my ute(BBQ),

2/6/2007
Matt came around and helped me tear the motor and box out, it was a lot easier than i expected, so much less stuff then a wrx haha.

once that was out matt had to shoot through and i disapeared for lunch,

after lunch Point came around and gave me a hand to tear the dash, wiring, A/C, heater, and all that other crap out of the engine bay and interior.

That was all i got done yesterday, so today once i get home the rest of the interior will be coming out so that my pannel beater friend will be able to cut the rust out of the body, the jack holder will also be cut out.

Thats it for now

Well not quite the wrx stuff, EJ22, Lseries 5speed d/r in liberty cases and a 5 stud convert, as for the interior, just the standard dash but with the liberty i/c, The 2 reasons i pulled the dash out was to make it easier to run the new harness and also so that i could give everything a good clean, i am planing to fit the liberty centre console, theres also going to be electric windows, an alarm and custom door trims to house my sterio.
