EA82T "Spider" Inlet Manifold ?
I can't remember if I asked but does anyone have pics of this manifold . I did see one of this type on a Turbo Vortex but was not sure if it was some aftermarket American thing . Also something was said about the throttlebody opening in the opposite direction so the TPS won't work in a normal app .
Cheers Adrian .

It has a larger throttle body and the intake runners are bigger and are a better shape.
The TPS is wired differently but is convertable.
NOTE: This TPS is designed for the 4 plug ecu only
It was supposed to add a few more HP. I think that is why the JDM vortex's had 130hp

130hp Manifold
I am not sure what they would be worth to buy nowdays..though i do know they are extremely well suited with the wolf 3d ecu... i am currently enjoying 155 hp in a 550 kg vehicle.....what would you consider to be fair pricing on this item?..cheers

I dont know peak torque, but 130hp (97kw) at 5200 rpm equals 131.3ft/lb or 177 Nm at 5200rpm
Thats 21 Nm more than the 115hp engine at 5200 rpm
I couldnt find peak torque, i only calculated torque at peak power.

Note that the pipe from the turbo to the throttle body is much smoother/better flowing than the normal ea82t

Top View, again notice the turbo-throttle body pipe

Adrian, i very much doubt that it would have been the spider intake on an ea81. It physically wont fit. Although RAM engines and sub4 did make some ea81 dual intake heads and intake runners to match, designed specifically for aeroplanes

Custom 4 port ea81 head

140hp ea81 mpfi with custom 4 port heads

Don't make me beg , how much for a manifold and crossover pipe . If its on a good engine how much ...
I'm going to have to do an engine anyway so will need another to rebuild because my RX is now the daily driver . Given a choise I'd like the Mass Air Sensor type which I take to mean the 4 plug computer setup . If the Vortex spec engine doesn't make as much torque down low thats fine because mine will spend 99% of its time on road .
Subaru the pic is on a partially assembled engine so it may have been an EA82 with the cam carriers missing . Probably my bad .
Cheers Adrian .
