Another Brumby in Townsville!
Standard 1990 brumby.....for now

. I have plans, but want to get it on the road first. Doesn't look like it needs much.
thanks go to apesybabe for telling me about it.

Thanks guys. I thought I did well for two grand. No rust either. So far I've got the dash apart and some other bits off to get rid of unwanted wiring. There's something funny with the rh headlight too. H4 globe works backwards?
now where do i find out if i can change the stud pattern to 4x114.3...

So I figure i should update this thread, as I've been working slowly on my EJ22 conversion. I've chosen to use as much of the donor Liberty as I can, so I have cut down the front crossmember and incorporated the body lift into it. Also using the Lib control arms with custom brackets to mount the control arm bush using the original captive bolts in the body. This wouldn't work without the body lift as the bush is directly in line with the chassis rail. I'm currently working on the radiator support to fit the Lib radiator.

I've also been doing a bit on the inside too.
This is the bracket to hold the Lib column in
and I've done a bit of chopping and reshaping of the Lib loom. I'm using most of it and replacing the original Brumby loom.

That's looking awesome! I like your idea of using as much liberty for your conversion as possible. I'm guessing you'll get the lib dash cut down to fit in the brumby?
Last thing you should put on it is a rear window sticker - "Liberty inside" - for shits and giggles, at least til someone recognises everything as liberty in the brumby (then watch their face drop).
Keep up the good work. How long's it taken you so far?
Cheers
Bennie

using the original Brumby dash, but with the Lib instruments and combination switch. There was too much of a difference in dash width to consider cutting it down.
so far the car has been off the road for just over a year. I have a few other projects that I'm working on like house extensions, and a few other cars. That and I'm easily distracted...

I do miss my Brumby though

now i just have to pull the motor out of the white foz to fix an oil leak, take the box out of the lib wagon and put it into the sedan, put a manual in the wagon.....and it goes on....
