I know some one else that should have one. Fulysik mate. Look shweet with 4 lights across the roof and 2 scared of the dark big suckers on the front. Also look awesome with a set of rod holders and some surf rods hanging off it.

I think the other lifted one you are thinking of was not a WRX but an Impreza non-turbo. Gravel-X maybe.

The front cut I just used in a Liberty conversion was a Gravel X WRX. Had a poxy jap stainless bullbar and all. It was also covered in red dirt like it had been thru the simpson.
Impreza's are shite anyway, may as well thrash them offroad. It's not like you could make the interior rattlier.

Well it would be safer to go bush in the company of an L series incase you get stuck as they are extemely reliable offroad

Yeah I remember seeing that. EJ20T out, EJ25 in.

I think it was the metallic green colour.

for you wilbur:

My car has a quad cam Outback motor, running an Outback computer through a WRX Wiring loom.
I have modified the settings of some sensors to get better fuel efficiency while retaining or improving the performance.
The gearbox has a 12 pound STI rally centre diff and a low range out of an L series, standard Liberty gear set, the box is now a 3.9 ratio.
Viscous LSD at the rear. There is a speed converter to make Speedo accurate. (more accurate than original)
WRX exhaust with a mod to bridge where the turbo would normally be.
Outback struts all round with a 2 inch lift kit. Alloy front suspension arms.
Standard Forester Metal rims with off road rubber. (Alloy's would not be suitable for the bush!)
Headlights are direct replacements from Cibie.
There is a heat exchanger under the bonnet for running hot water.
A dual battery runs the fridge that is mounted in the boot.
Customer made Roof rack for the spare.

How does the heat exchanger work? Does it work good?
