Just had to tell someone that might care
This morning after my weekly indoor flying (yes indoor flying) we were all out in the carpark talking about this that and the other when what did I see but the best looking and sounding Brumby I have ever seen drive past. Only caught a few seconds from about 50 meters away (it was fast

) but from what I saw it was lifted (2 or 3 inches) and had BIG offroad tyres, bullbar, a few big antennas (UHF radio?) spotlights all along the roof. And the sound, oh the sound. It was the EA81 I could tell, but I've never heard one sound so nice

Hard to explain in words but made me a bit weak at the knees

When it went out of sight I could hear it shifting through the gears going off down another street for ages, with a pop at the end of one shift.
Of course my excitement was greeted by looks of complete confusion by everyone else (it must be a Subaru thing) And I was thinking how could that be around and the driver not part of this forum??

So, who was it? Doubt if anyone on here would know (It was southern suburbs of Adelaide, white Brumby for what it's worth

)
I've never seen it before, doubt if I will see it again

they were probably just passing through. Anyone else have stories of amazing Subies they've seen and not know anything about? Just round the corner from me there is a front yard with 4 Subarus in it, all red. One lifted brumby, a liberty, impreza hatch and one other. Obviously Subaru fans, but not in this forum?
That's all, I'll calm down now
