Good to know Matt i had not though about that although i had though about securing the WAIC rad to it however if its not secured firmly in the front apron then this might not be a good option either - hmm.Subafury wrote:also remember to brace your bonnet catch with another bracket as the bonnet will wiggle up and down at speed.
Well I got 15minutes of time out in the garage this afternoon to fiddle with the WAIC.
The following is a series of pictures where I have been able to remove the last of the air-to-air intake and move the WAIC unit around to see where it could be located.
The reason why it was sitting to high in the engine bay is that I still have the heat shield and bar still in the car (I assume that other without lift had removed this item?) You can see from the pictures it was ridiculously high.

On the spare wheel shelf.

Ideal WAIC Unit placement thus far appears to be with the rear of the unit just on the shelf and then I’ll have to fab up a little bracket and mount the heat shield onto the bottom (RHS) of the unit.

After AndrewT’s post about not having to drill holes I freaked thinking that I knew I should have waited to do this until final unit placement of the unit had been decided however after placing the WAIC unit in each position my only real option for the hoses to run is a few centimeters further (and backward) to the new hole and along the wheel arch. It would appear that if its not going there then its above the dizzy and beside the engine and this is not something I wanted. The saga continues...
