Hey mate,

Welcome to the forum. Well new 3 or 4 inch kit are about $700. I have a set of 14's for sale, pm if you are interested.

Red_Rocket is selling his monster, vbclassified.php?do=ad&id=1156 exactly what you want to do with yours, His has 4inch lift, 14 inch rims, EJ22 liberty engine conversion plus its the electric model and he is in WA. Maybe consider selling the one you got and buy his. Maybe more expensive but all the work has been done and its not that expensive really for 3800. send him a pm or look at his build post. showthread.php?t=14491

If you still want to keep yours take a look at my build post to see what i've done to mine "link below". We are happy to help new members:)

Hi and Welcome Space Jay :)

I would also suggested buying Scott's (red rocket) L.Series as you said you didn't have much mechanical experience but if you're keen on doing the work yourself then you will save some money and have fun/learning about your car along the way. This site is a awesome place to get ideas and also a great way to read what others have experienced with their build ups. Best thing is to ask questions before you start and grab ideas of people that will suit you best.

Just remember your car in standard form still is quiet capable of some great offroad fun, it comes down to playing and learning what it can and can't do. The WA boys have a few trips from time to time and a good one to join is Guyph's trip to Wedge Is. next weekend. It's a good time to go with people that have similar cars and also help if you get in a sticky situation.

So hope to see you out and about
