Pretty much, only the EG33 had a variable intake, twin knock sensors and a higher comp ratio. >> Read me for more info <<RetroLover wrote: I was wondering the Vortex XT6 engine (2.7Liter ER27) was an extention from the 1.8Liter EA82. Does this apply the same with the 3.3Liter SVX, was this an extention from the 2.2Liter EJ22 engine in the Gen1 Liberty's?
That one has a 6-speed manual in it.RetroLover wrote:Shame the SVX Acylone only came in that stupid fidgity electric 4speed automatic transmission. Would of sold better with a 5speed manual.
Pretty much except the EG33 is a quad cam.RetroLover wrote:I was wondering the Vortex XT6 engine (2.7Liter ER27) was an extention from the 1.8Liter EA82. Does this apply the same with the 3.3Liter SVX, was this an extention from the 2.2Liter EJ22 engine in the Gen1 Liberty's?
I read about a Gold DMC DeLorean somewhere. Some Texas millionare owns it and its for show in a glass casing either in Houston Texas, or in Las Vegas Nevada. I wonder if the car would start up if someone where to ever put some petrol in the fuel tank.D3V1L wrote:\ive seen one of the gold ones andrew:) in an airport in the us somewhere i cant remember...it was behind thick glass..never had fuel in the tank or oil in the motor

And is probabily a better design with one exhaust port per cylinder, as opposed to the ER27 that had 4 ports to 6 cylinders- two that were shared by two cylinders to each with the rear (?) ports only looking after one cylinder, giving the engine a total of 4 exhuast ports to the 6 cylinders...brumbyrunner wrote:That one has a 6-speed manual in it.
