Speedo correction > who has done this ??

I have now 215x70 r16 tyres on my liberty with a ej20T motor and 4444 diff , trans is auto .

My speedo will be out , so is there a correction sticker , method of change I can do or purchase ?

I have heard Flexible Drive Agencies can do it, I've never actually asked them or heard of anyone going there for it though.

Failing that, ring the Coventrys head office on 9276 0111 and ask for the Service department, they can handle it there.

i cant remember if it was this board or the usmb that somebody took a photo of their speedo, modified it on the computer then printed it out, then pulled the cover off the speedo and stuck it ontop of the factory dial

Looked pretty good too

There are places that can do it relatively easily - some kind of gearing change in the back of the instrument cluster. Mate of mine got it done to his L series after he got 27" tyres.

From memory it was just under $100 but I can't be too sure. Next time I am in Osborne Park I will cruise by the place and find out what it's called. "Something Instruments" I beleive.

Late Liberty's take their speed from a electronic impulse. Jaycar sell a modification box to adjust the speed for $45 Cat No. KC5380

not many people are lifting late libs yet.

electronic i can do, but my car is a gen1 and has a mechanical speedo. A gearset is the only option

i dont know if its fair or not, but its certainly more than i am willing to spend on it.

Its really not htat big of a deal, you get used to jsut working out the difference in your head

You could just spend the $300 on a half decent gps unit that gives you speed and bingo, problem solved.

I can get my speedo face made .What size tyres came out on the legacy > 2ltr turbo with 4444 diffs ( auto ) ? I can do this but need the correct tyre size .

I am running now on this beast 215 x 70 r16 tyres & rims

andrew was called tisco > name was replaced with ASAT
they moved to kewdale as well .I know this as I work just down the road from there old place .
