Next little trip

Post by Fatz » Tue Jul 22, 2008 9:52 am

Now that the weather is so beautiful, i think we should do a weekend trip somewhere. There will be lots of mud around and no doubt lots of fun.
Anyone have any suggestions?
I've been looking through other states threads and it makes me sad that we aren't doing anything.
Also does anyone have a D/R manual gearbox by any chance:P

Concured. We need to have a weekender sometime soon.
Then I will have a good reason to fix the wagon!

I'd like to go west, simply cos its awesome.
Although somewhere central would be more betterer, maybe we could have another crack at the Ragged Jack Saddle track?

I have an 86 L box. Not sure on the condition, Will, Johnny or Ben will know though. Seemed to be fine before i took the motor out of it.

I'd be keen but... Just waiting on Will to give me some prices on some struts and springs ;) After the weather we've just had, I don't think my lib would get too far.

Trip

Post by legacytt » Thu Jul 24, 2008 5:07 pm

I'm keen, Coupe is currently in the shed on stands getting the lift fitted, along with an EJ22 and a general freshen up. However with my current schedule isn't likely to be finished till late August. I am happy to revive the Ben Lomond concept then so if I don't make a trip in the next few weeks we could do another then.

sure man, you can come.
Just don't be too disappointed when you have to sit back and watch the subies continue forth while you contemplate how to get your pootrol unstuck;)

Clearly you haven't dropped into the Vic section? We're trying to change that with some day trips to start off with, got one coming up on the 9th of Aug that's currently being organised... If there are any Tassie members up this way on that weekend you're more than welcome to come along!

Good luck on orgainising a trip, tassie has sooo much to offer from what I remember of the Queenstown/Straugn area.

Have fun!

Cheers
