im with keeping the super charger, as stated u love that car, even if you take it \off and put it back on another day... get the body sorted out then get back on it... that is why i havent got rid of my ea82t yet i might still run with it... will take time but it doesn't cost to have it sit there

My first thought was you should sell it but after some thought overnight, I have changed my mind and would hate to see all your hard work go to waste, probably not the best way to put it, sorry but I hope you understand what I mean. I would love to catch up with you Dave and have a beer or 2 because I would love help in anyway I can. :)
You know you are getting old when the candles on your birthday cake start to cost more than the cake itself.

Convert Hatchie to electric! Then there'd be two arse kicking off road electric subarus around! haha *is shot*

Srsly. I think keeping Hatchie around for longer would be best, and it's not like it doesn't run rings around everything else as it is.

As for house prices... ye gods, don't get me started on the price of a gorram house in Perth! I'd be halfway finished with my brumby if the boom hadn't come to Perth. :P
Living in Canada now. Looking at all these SVXs for sale...

If yer aything like me , you start something - you wanna finish it

If someone said it'd be more than two years before I get my EA82T running right and in my Brumby and I thought they'd be right - I'd never would have started.
I am getting there - slowly

What is Carla's view on this ?

Shush... Carla doesn't know what im considering. Her view would be to keep it... i think she likes the smile on my face after i come back from a blast in the hatch.

It's a shame that i have done the hard parts of this conversion and it's the easier more optional parts that are holding me back from being totally satisfied.

I keep telling myself that I am learning (keeping the grey matter processing) and it is a part of the fun of driving my 'build' or repair , but also giving my neck and shoulder muscles a caning, not to mention C5 C6 disc.

I have been all over and under a 2002 Subaru S (that is what the Forester compliance plate calls it! ) an early AWD Liberty and a 2002 Outback, eyeing off the drive trains thinking maybe I shoulda.... NO BUDDY, FIRST THINGS FIRST

If it makes you happy keep it. They are pretty rare too.
I'd imagine you'd look good in a Targa Brumby (Silver of course).
I'm running out of space and can't do the conversion I wanted on my ute. I will regret it later I know. My missus isn't so understanding about 'the other girl' either.

I'm liking your fiance more now dave... I got Kez out to the shed last night while I was "fitting" the brumby's electric windows - she made a facia for the stereo :D

If its the easier more optional parts that are holding you back why not take it slowly? Its not like Hatchie doesn't run well the way it is now - from what I remember anyway. I think if you are committed to it and so is Carla (or happy that you're happy) you'll find a way to do what you want with it, still pay the mortgage and feed yourselves...

Its a tough one, and if its because of a time that will pass in the next few months it may be best to sit on it for a while then go forward...
