Let me know your thoughts...

What would be the best bonnet scoop for a '92 Brumby?

Cos I'm thinking one of those big carbon fibre looking beasts you see on the new Rex but the missus thinks it won't look any good - keeping in mind I am about to spray the car another colour from Suby Red to Red Rock Tatziki (it's a Smiths' chip packet)

no intercooler no need for it i reckon, although the RS turbos did have them there for not alot of reason, maybe one of those would look good.....

There is a perfectly good reason to have a Huge scoop....EGO it's not a dirty word. but seriously to have the hottest brumby ute on the road is an acheivable goal..I think?

where can i get any scoops in aus.

I have used the Nissan Patrol scoop before and it looks good and Brumbyrunner prefers the Jackaroo scoops

Wilbur tells me that bitsamissan is onto the whole "everyone using Patrol scoops because they're cheap" thing and the Jackeroo scoops are no longer available through Holden although you might find one at a wreckers.
I'd like to see someone use the scoop off the D22 Navara with the 2.5 engine.

Personally I don't think a hot brumby needs a scoop - especially brumby's that are high performance. I love the sleeper look, maybe something to do with Sunnie later on

Good luck for the hunt for a scoop - as brumby runner said, bruise around at different wreckers... This is where Pick a Part style wreckers are good - you can pull a part off one car to try and retro fit onto another car

Yep that's some nice advice. I would simply never have thought abut a scoop from another family. i'm gonna sus out this d22 thing and the scrap yards.....time permitting

I doubt you'll find many scoop equipped D22 bonnets yet.
The 2.5 has only been out for 5 mins.

The best scoop I've ever seen on an MY was on Tim81coup's EJ20turbo coupe. It was a map holder from an old MY door trim

I used a Porsche one on my RX-7 years ago. Very subtle if thats what you're after.

i did the same thing with the door pocket off an my on the brumby i once was building...glassed it up and made it sit up more...looked awsome till my now ex had it towed n crushed as part of the marrage ending.....i miss that brumby....
