Are they any good - HID 6000k
Looking at alternatives for my Liberty's light upgrade - looking at 6000k,
Shown on ebay - http://cgi.ebay.com.au/Subaru-HID-Xenon ... m153.l1262
Are they any good or too good to be true?
Cheers

6000k is perfect. Not bullshit blue, but not yellow either. a very white light.
this is 6000k in my liberty. Strait after i did the conversion. Its a really nice white light, and the upgade on light is remarkable. Best thing u can do to a car IMHO.
(and a pic of my wagon with the yellow foggies and 6000k hids)

I can't help but wonder if the cops will crack down on these things one day, as they aren't approved for road use. Recently there was a law passed making it illegal to use fog lights when it is not foggy. If you do fit HIDS, get something decent, so much of the cheap stuff coming out of china fails in a short time, and you don't want high voltage gear failing at any time, let alone when it is lighting up the road for you at night. I image they would need to be reaimed after fitting also. All the best with it.

Myne are 6000K, as are the ones on Jim cruiser ute I believe.
I should probabaly point out my avatar is all halogen lights though.
There is only one thing you must do in your life. Everything else is a choice.
