Rims on my camper

Im trying to work out what rims are on my camper trailer so i can try and locate a set of white offroad style rims for it.

They are 4 stud (not subaru). Ford or Holden... how do i tell?

Also would anyone know how hard this would be to change to Subaru stud pattern if i wanted to change it?

ford/holden have 4 stud? most of those would be re-badged jap cars wouldn't they?

measure the PCD of the studs, and find some wheels to suit, or re-drill the hubs/buy hubs with the right stud pattern(if you can get them)

4x100 is fairly common late model FWD
4x114.3 is old Datsun/Toyota etc.

4 x 110 is the very rare early Mazda pattern found on old RX-7's etc

Yeah just measure the PCD and you will find out. I'd imagine to change stud patterns you would have to knock the studs out, weld up the holes, and re-drill a new pattern using a subaru wheel as a template but the centre would have to be an exact fit to get it right. I'd get an engineering joint to do it.
You might not have to weld up the old holes if you can get the new holes positioned in between the old ones.

martin trailer parts sells 4 stud subaru hubs for about $25 a pair i think. bolt straight on, just have to see what size your axle is.

Pretty sure I've been there and seen rims on the shelf before, bit expensive tho.
Although if you're going Subaru hubs you may aswell just get a couple more Speedies

yeah probably wont go Subaru... there is no added benefit... i Can't fit the same size tyres and rims as my car so it would actually be rather pointless.

There is a way to get the tyre size that hatchie is using now to fit the camper... I'll leave it to your imagination, you seem to have done well with hatchie so far

I physically can fit them on the camper but that will lift the camper higher. Because of the style of it... it will mess things up by making it sit higher. I could always put smaller wheels on the hatch.

Im now after a spare hub for the camper but im not having much luck finding a matching hub. Can someone help diagnose the stud pattern.

It is 4 stud. Each stud is about 7cm apart (middle of stud to middle of stud) And diagonally to each stud is approx 10cm (middle of stud to middle of stud)

That would be a 4x100PCD, should be fairly common for small cars.

4x100PCD: Diahatsu, VW, Nissan Pulsars, Honda Civic, '92 onward Corolla's.

Just be careful, there are some very similar PCD's 4x98 and 4x108, measure to the centre of diagonally opposite bolt holes.

The other thing to watch is the spigot size.

4 x 100 is a SERIOUSLY common PCD for the 'smaller' cars.

Yeah I figured those examples were enough.

Then again, it's very common if your rim hunting, hub hunting is probably a different matter.

You best bet is to see if the trailer joint jay mentioned can match something up for you.

Yeah difficult thing is being able to make it to the joint during the week.

Interesting to see VWs have that size rim... i have seen some nice VW rims about i wouldn't mind. Thanks for the info... should help in my hunt. I will do a more exact re-measure though to make sure it isn't 98mm.
