Washer motor Question
If my front washer motor only appears to work when the bonnet is open (not real useful) and water will come out of the jets when manually pressurising the washer reservoir (ie seal fill hole with mouth and blow) is my washer pump buggered?

LOL, thanks Mike, very inconspicuous comment. I'd have though that the pump would not allow this to happen, as there would have to be free flow through the pump while it was not pumping to do so
FYI, I did find that a new genuine pumps is about $125! This compares to $20 for an MY pump from the wreckers (looked the same to me but not 100% sure) or about $35 for a direct replacement pump from my local auto parts store.
