The starting point: stock 1992 L series with 196,xxx kms, A/C, no P/S, and a set of 14" King wheels (speedy rip offs).
Aim for the project: Create a capable off roader that WILL be driven everyday on the road. I'm happy to compromise on road comfort/handling for better off road ability, after all i'm used to driving 40 year old tanks with no P/S.
What is to come:
BYB 3" Lift kit
Kumho KL71's (27, 8.5, 14)
EJ25 conversion package out of another car. From Lapsed in W.A.
Kit includes EJ25 DOHC, clutch, flywheel, adapter plate for EA gearbox.
Haven't thought about what will happen next. Probably just drive it around until i work out i need better brakes.
UPDATED: Pictures...
This is the advertising image from when i found the car for sale.

With the kings wheels, before the EJ.

At Wombat park during the last Suby outing in Vic.
