Post by maddog » Tue May 20, 2008 12:13 pm

Hi All - When i fit EJ20 into my L (Carb) Wagon - will I need an exhaust system with an O2 Sensor?
88 GL Touring Wagon - getting better all the time... or was until Skippy got in the way one night... writeoff now :(
98 Forester - wotaluvlycar! (belongs to missus) ;o)
91 Liberty Wagon in immaculate condition - can't believe how much nice it is, mine! ;)

yeah, keep the exhaust headers that come with the EJ20 and continue to use the O2 sensor they will have in them.

Aha! Thanks for that!
I am hopefully picking up a '98 Forester (lightly rolled!) and am keen to find out all that I can before I start swapping engines and then grind to a halt because I missed something! I live in the Snowy Mountains and will be doing the conversion myself (alone!) and will have no transport until job is complete!

Will I need to acquire an EA82 EFI fuel tank? or can I just fit a surge tank somewhere?
Thanks again!
Regards, Justin.

An ea82 MPFI fuel tank would be ideal, but they are becoming hard to find so keep the surge tank open as an option
