You quit the only good job you've had because of a silly conflict with management, line up a new job, jump straight over and realise its about 10 times worse than where you were.

I'm serious. I'm really thinking of going and begging for my old job back. Or at least an equivalent job in another part of the organisation.

At the moment I'm sending off resume's. I've been at the new place for all of 3 days and I'm ready to tear my hair out. If I wasn't in such a dire financial state right now I'd quit tomorrow morning.

This is what you get for thinking the grass is greener. I need to get my eyes checked.

Tough break tim.
But its only three days into a new job after a long time at a different place.
Just smile, work hard so they think your a good buy and class this as a means to the next better job thats around the corner.
Keep sending off the resumes and doing the leg work to change your situation.
In your mind you must accept that you have to be there in order to find the other. or it will get you down big time.
If you try to get your old job back you could end up beholding to the very people that p*ssed you off in the first place, is that a price you want or is it not so bad thats your call.
Good luck Pete

Thanks for the support guys. Last night I emailed about six resume's and today I lodged two during my extremely short lunch break.

Here's hoping I score the accessories fitter job at a certain offroad store....

Best of luck with the resumes, hope you get some bites soon!

Nope, I want that job myself.

They haven't contacted me back yet though, so its most likely not gonna happen.
