Brumby radiator overflow
Brumby radiator overflow
Anyone fitted another overflow from another car into a Brumby? I've heard of it being done but don't know what to look for to fit.
Past rides-
1989 Brumby

I have fitted an overflow but not from another car, just put a piece of 50mm pvc pipe with end cup both ends, one seaaled tight the other just pushed over (with a hole drilled in it for the overflow pipe). A couple of brackets down the passengers side of the car radiator support panel.
This has worked for a good couple of years now. Most overflows won't fit without taking out the jack, etc, especially with aircon.

i wen to Coventrys, bought a like $20 'kit' from them and attached it to my rad outlet.
BUT, if you put one on you need to make sure u change your Radcap to one with a seal also at the top, so it can actually suck it back and push it into the overflow bottle instead of leaking it out the top of the rad cap neck.
photo available, but its really nothing special lol

my radiator overflow is the stock l-series unit. Works fine.
I also saw AdamB was using the stock liberty one. A really long unit. Tucked in next to battery. Seemed to work well as well

i think the reason of this thread, is that MY's never came out with one from factory whereas L series did
