Land Rover Owners...

Post by Thalass » Mon Mar 24, 2008 12:53 am

I was talking to my brother today, and he's recently been out with some other landrover owners around the place. Specifically the Powerlines in Perth, he was a bit surprised that I had made it through there in my outback. Admittedly I was taking the easy routes, but he was too some of the time, even some of the Defenders had to go around some hard bits, judging from the photos!

Anyway, I thought it would be good to have a joint trip at some point. AuSubaru vs Aulro. Show those rover drivers how it's done! Well, those who have serious off-road vehicles, that is. The nose on the outback is scraped up enough as it is :p

I've seen the powerlines videos on youtube... there's one or two scrapes that didn't sound quite that bad from inside the car, but on the video they're big ol' crunches. :P This is why I need an old brumby bush-basher. Cheaper to fix!

Pick on the Land Rover owners all you want. But the fact is they are a really nice community. They helped me out a lot.

yeah perth4x4 guys had a big sad, because it was labelled as a informal competition, and they thought theyd be liable.
but then when we did have a joint organised trip the perth4x4 guys left for the tracks off before us and we didnt really see them since.
maybe landrovers guys are different :)
