Just wondering how many people replaced their C links

Post by fredsub » Mon Feb 18, 2008 11:29 am

C links for the stabilizer bar, mine is OBW, but libs etc all the same too?
Anyway when I had a suspension check some er 8mths ago, fellow pointed out the flex using a long bar, and rubbers in them maybe a bit shagged.
But looking myself I didn't really think they were so bad.......tis only stabilizer bar right?
I not sure on what basis one really might need to replace them, so any thoughts here would be helpful, thanks

Anyways subaru oems are quite expensive, but there are better ? aftermarket ones in alloy......

the usual reason for replacing them is because they break

standard ones are plastic
theres heavy duty ones made out of some bent steel
theres much heavier duty ones out of alloy

ive broken everything but the alloy ones, most aftermarket suspension places make the c links, mine are from whiteline

Thanks sounds good to me...if not broke leave 'em alone.

whiteline were the ones I was thinking of, sub $300 for full set i think i'v seen.

Do the plastic/nylon break easily ? I guess if off-roading and get caught on rock or something maybe?
