Where is it?
Where is it?
where would I find the wires to hook up a trailer plug to go with my new towbar?
Is it the two wires coming down in the centre of my wagon?
Thanks
Joshua.

Bye Bye Brumby...

pick up the harness that gives power to the rear lights then use a tester to work out which wire drives which lights

my last 4wd that i built and had fun scaring subarus on fire trails:twisted:
full NSW rego. 270liters diesel. 140liters of water. airide suspension on front axle.
self contained for a week with 6 adults. Island cab was cut and narrowed 300mm to fit the chassis.
Great fun off road. Now lives in FIJI as a mobile dentists truck.

If you're lucky to have an adapter plug that attaches to the rear lights (I think its LHS lights) and plug it and it has trailer plug attached. If not - you can connect up 5 wires onto it (7th wires would be electric brakes if you have one)

You don't need to cut if you use those joiner things that squish together and join two wires. Be warned that on the L-Series, the "STOP LAMP" warning lamp may come on when you have a trailer connected as the system detects a drop in voltage in the brake light circuit. They should still work find though.

Yeah same here with scotch connections - one time i used it for full beam and it melted and caused poor connections, best way is strip 10cm of wire and solder it on for good connection and put tape around each wire (I used shrink thing)
I really hate when people do that with their radios - very messy that way and I would make an adapter for it.
