o oh spagettio, more shenadigans

Post by vidler » Sun Dec 09, 2007 3:03 pm

yes my bbq today was a bit of a anti climax.... I u turned in a crap spot on top of a hill and on a bend, lancer came round the corner and got me.... bent stut, minor damage to bottom front door and fender.... That was in the new lib too. bugger, lancer need a new fender, bumper (fibreglass body kit), fog light.

all i can say is im lucky the lib is lifted coz it woulda been much worse and im also lucky it was a lancer:)

More shenadigans before x mas i didnt really need, but hey.... sh1t happens

Mrs isnt too pleased, very silent trip home and still no words....

lib will be back on the road 2morrow... just gotta replace the strut, thinking the front drive shaft may be bent too but will confirm it when i pull it out. I can live with the panel damage... wont see it when its covered in mud:)

didn't see it, but agree in principle with Dave, with the number of cars on the side of the road you would think about slowing down and taking care, lucky there were no pedestrians!

she cant prove that she wasnt either... if its a 40 zone or something, i was already well onto the road, she would've had to have seen me at least 30m before... Ive done the defensive driving **** skid pan emergency stopping stuff and from 40 you could pull a car up in about 10-15m

Just preparing arguments if her old man wants to be a *****.

her boyfriends comment when he got out was "oh my hangover just got worse" gives me the impression they could've had a big night too...

I think the big trouble you have is the double white lines on the road :/
Wasn't really the best place for everyone to re-group on a bend like that but too late to change anything now.
Jay I'm sure you've prolly organised something already but if you need a spare strut just for a temporary fix I have a few GX Lib ones in the shed, wouldn't fit your big tyres tho but okay for that spare.

Jay, you will have to explain to me later exactly what here Dad is saying he is going to do. The damage has been done... you have admitted fault and are willing to sort out the repairs.

I agree with Andrew, would be hard to fight when it was on a tight bend and double white line. I don't actually think she was going very fast... and thats kinda evident by the small amount of damage caused.

Was very unlucky in what happend man. I feel for you. Let me know if there is any way i can help.

was a blind sharp left hand corner. and there where many cars around that would have hindered her dogs vision unfortunatley

hahaha... yeah i dont think ill be able to get out of it, just want to be a ***** in return. i could say i was pulling out to drive further down the road for a safe spot to u turn, that'd sort out the double white lines argument:)
