Post by Bumpty » Wed Dec 05, 2007 11:04 pm

Doing a bit research about these things, and haven't found anything about these that have anything to do with subys (and framless windows)
Are these things made for Subys?
As I was hoping to purchase some for my lib wagon, but I just can't see how they attach... haha

These are a weather deflector, some manufacturers do them as a factory option but I beleive you can get generic ones from some Auto shops which fit many different cars.
I used to have one on a Sigma, it attached to the frame with little metal clips (with thin rubber in between to protect the paint).
I suppose it would be abit hard to get one to work with a frameless Subaru door but perhaps there are some that attach to the actual car instead.

i think they may have been an option from subaru in the later model libs, but as far as ive seen they are only on import libertys, and mainly wagon, they are only about 2'' wide i guess just enough to have the window open a smidge!!???

Yes but it couldnt have too much overhang as if you opened the door with the window up, it would hit the glass.

I spose all you could do is talk to either subaru or a company like Aunger and see if they make them.
