liberty air ride compressor , any one used this to pump tyre

I have removed the compressor from my liberty and was wondering if any one has mounted this on the car to pump there tyres up ?

any good for this ?? ideas

could be done but doesnt work real well.

the pump is designed for high pressure low volume, not what you want to pump up a flat tyre.. If you have it fill up a big enough tank though then it could bt useful.

Brett had one set up like this. not sure if hes still using it

yeah, I had it set up in my current Lib. As Dane has said it is slow with out a big reserve tank. There is a lot of stuffing around to use the factory pump though due to the way the lines fit in to it. I have now got a good heavy duty pump permanantly mounted in the spare wheel well with a reserve tank. It then runs to the factory tank at the front for that little bit more volume. I have got a compressor hose outlet fitted to it.

Pumps the tyres up very well and quite quickly.
