i think there is a 2lt and a 2.4lt but that was only rumour on another subaru forum

This would be the way to go in an MY or L i reckon. Didn't show the bolt pattern on the back :(

And that turbo looks like it needs a re-location (to a higher point for water crossings). I know mr fuji probabily put it there for a reason but it doesn't suit ours (mine)...
