towing compacity

hey guys just wondering what the towing compacity of a 90 model subi liberty wagon is

Have a look around the towbar if there is an stamp on it - normally they would tell you around there, you might have to go under the car for that.

my hamyan reece bar is 1200kg, 80kg towball weight.

It will vary though depending on which bar you have

I think from memory on mine (Gen2 Lib) its 800kg unbraked, 1200kg braked.

Regardless of what the towbar is rated for there is a legal limit to what the car itself is allowed to tow. I'm not sure what it is for Libs but it should be listed in the manual if it's still in your glove box.
