After 2 years behind an EJ20T my AWD dual range Lib box now has multiple bits of second gear scattered around inside it. The cause was towing a heavy trailer a few too many times rather than the usual overzealous launch. A tooth went first signified by a noise in second, till it finally all let go and low range 3rd had to substitute as second to get the car up the hill to home.
While it is out I am going to try to fit Lseries 3.7 1st and 2nd and RS 5th. so shorter gears at the start and taller at the end.

L series 5th or RS Liberty 5th will fit in Dual Range box.
I am not sure, but I think I have read off from somewhere that 1 to 4th gears are same as L series in Liberty box. I could be wrong... Best way is to get L series box and Liberty box and measure all up.
Cheers
