Almost rolled L series at Gnangara

Post by adamb » Tue Oct 02, 2007 9:43 pm

hi everyone,

On Friday i was out at the pines doing some rallying in the L. i misjudged a corner and ended up sideways for about 20 metres before hitting the edge of the track and stopping abruptly, almost rolling the car. Now the back left tyre seems to be on an angle, ie: the bottom of the tyre is sticking out more than the top. Do you know what i would need to replace to repair this? is it the swingarm?

thanks,
Adam

Do it to the righthand rear wheel as well, then you will have "Racing Negative Camber"

Yeah replace the whole trailing arm.

ok, i went to the wreckers yesterday and bought a trailing arm, installed it today and the wheel is still not straight. its a little better, but its no where near perfect. should i be replacing the out arm as well? What else could it be? is it the mount on the gearbox crossmember?

thanks,
adam

thanks,
adam

nah dont have any pics of before, if its not going to cause to much trouble ill just leave it. the only thing that will be affected is tyre wear right?
