L alloy rear bar pics

Post by subius » Mon Sep 24, 2007 4:12 pm

Hey guys,

looking at getting an alloy rear bar custom built for my L wagon as there is only so many times I can cable tie it back together.

What I'm after is some pics of alloy rear bars to get an idea of where to start, and work out what a good design might be.

any info would be great.

cheers

I bought it 2nd hand, I cant decide if I should shine it up or paint it black. Im thinking of black because it would look more stock, but with my skills im sure the paint would scratch off easily.

Make it match whatever you've got on the front. I would keep it shiny cos paint is only going to scratch off. Mine is going to stay shiny cos I have an alloy bullbar on the front

Here's a pic of mine with rear wheel carrier and jerry can holder. Jerry can holder is a Kaymar(sp?), but origin / manufacturer of bar unknown. Both hinge / rotate out to the side, allowing easy access to tailgate.
