Best spot to go through firewall. 'L' series

I need to run a charge cable from the rear of the 'L' to the start battery, through the firewall. I have absolutly no idea what I am doing and would greatly appreciate some help.
Is there an existing hole to go through, if so where and how do I find it/get there

Where do I go if the above is not the case

i went on the passenger side,there is a rubber groment that the wiper wiring and a/c wiring comes thru.You can see it from above .Push thru the grommment and it comes out near the passenger kick panel .You can lift the carpet up and feed it to back under the carpet.
