Hi gang
I was told by a mate that the peugeot 505 14" rims fit the L-series. Can anyone comfirm this for me.

Bingo :).
Just be carfull if you come across any of the 15 " ones as they are actually slightly bigger than 15" and tyres are rare and very expenciv when you do find them .
The 14's will be fine though, all be it rather ugly.

mike, they have metric and imperial rims... they have genuine 15" rims but the metric version is the one to steer clear of. i have 1 metric rim as a spare but the other are imperial.

i have 15" pug 505 sti rims on my brumby as you can see in my sig pic

Pretty sure the 505 STI had metric rims that only take the Michelin TX (?) tyres at around $300 each.
The GTI had the 14 and 15 inch (imperial) rims.

they wouldnt be called 15" metric:) coz 15" is imperial... but you get the drift... i just looked then... the metric rim is 390mm

My old man is a bit of a peugot freak he had several of each and its only that one set of specific mags you have to worry about because they are a european size and you are able to get recaps for them but the stud pattern remains the same.
