Since the EJ conversion some could say i have not have the best of luck with it.

Gear box 1 = Crunchy old gears VERY noisey
Gear box 2 = Good gears, No 4wd
Gear box 3 = Good gears, Good 4wd. Noisey in 2wd
Gear box 4 = Ok gears, 4wd selector issues
Gear box 5 (current) = near perfect

After the fitting of gear box 4... i blew the head gaskets. $600 later engine was refitted with gear box 5.

Now less than a month later... engine is seized and the rebuild costs will exceed replacing the engine. Expected replacement costs will be about $800.

Next month it would have been about a year since the conversion. im getting real good at removing the engine now.

Lucky this is my only hobby.
