What do want to know?
If the variable valve timing from the current model 3.0 H6 will retro-fit onto the older 3.3?
No chance in hell.
But why would you want to?

In theory if you can get hold of a Gen 4 EZ30 it should fit as it's a physically smaller engine, but I have no idea if it will directly bolt up to anything, to be honest I doubt it.

But all you're really going to gain is an engine with the same power and slightly less weight and a major wiring headache.

Jordan.

I'm with Jordan, but think that it all would directly bolt up. Also, as Jordan said you would gain nothing in the conversion.

That said, if the motive is to find a cheaper than EG33 replacement for a dead motor I think the install, unless completeable by your mates father in entirety would be more expensive than getting a full rebuild on the dead engine.

It was an idea that someone entered into his head. I thought I'd ask. I thought someone may have said EG33 is belts (at the front?) and EZ30 is chain drive (at the rear of engine??) Is it electronic ? not oil driven like sister (SPIT) company nissan?

engine is sweet

also sounded lke one of those hair brained ideas like an EG33 into a Brumby - and that sounded like a piece of cake for Daniel

EG33 is timing belt. EZ30 is timing chain. Both at the front.

Did you just want to put an EZ30 into an SVX (unlike my original interpretation)?
Should be very do-able with a huge improvement in centre-of-balance.
