What do you think a possum bourne signed poster is worth?

Post by Phizinza » Tue Sep 04, 2007 4:11 pm

I have two posters from 2002 SA rally, signed by both Possum and Cody. They are about A3 size with a picture of Crockers Subaru. They have been rolled up stored pretty much since the rally. Thinking of selling them but not sure how much they are worth. If you have any idea of their value let me know please. Cheers,

Would be hard pressed to tell, as Bourne memorabilia is not as collectable as say, for example, Brock stuff.
He signed a lot of spectator stuff in his time, but as it probably isn't certified, I doubt you would get $100 for it.
Frame it and throw it in the shed; a tribute to a legend that was...

I would, but I have two and I need the money. Might keep one if the other is worth something decent. Might have to try it on ebay.

Same with me - I have a poster with Peter Brock with signature on it, its not certified at all and its worthless - I was gonna get it framed and put it away for 10 years and try sell it - ppl have said to me - waste of time. But again never know...
Cheers

Anything with Barry Sheene's signature on it is worth more then 20 I reckon.. He's a legend and was a great guy
He'd always say things like "That's a sausage that one!" when commentating on the V8's..

Stuff like that is a tough call. Who can say? I have a signed Auto Art car. Mark Lovell signed it for me a coule of months before he crashed and died. When he signed it, I was like "Sweet! Now I it's worth a bunch of money, being a limited production model and all." When he passed, my attitude changed. I would feel like a jerk profitting from his death after the guy shook my hand as he passed the car back to me. . . I'm betting it's worth a couple of hundred bucks, he said he'd never signed one before.

See the one in the all blue box. . .
