hi all

does any one know where i can get a weber carby for my l-series wagon in perth, and installed? And an approx price figure, so i dont get ripped!!

Check the Ford wreckers first, you want a 32/36 DGV carby off a 6 cylinder Cortina or Falcon.
Adapter plates are readily available from 7 day type parts shops (Auto Pro, Auto One, One Stop etc).
As for installation, I suppose someone like Carburettor Exchange could do it, or even your local mechanic.

Fitting it yourself isn't hard... the factory carby is a lot more complicated so don't let that scare you. There is a great deal of info available around that could help through out the internet.

If you get one and they (wreckers) have another plz post. They come off a 6cyl XF falcoon from what I understand. If I find one or two I'll pm ya..

2l Cortina and some 2l Escorts have em too.
Standard cost for theses is usually $55.

I beleive XD Falcons had them too, XE's definitely did.

Ford wreckers are definitely the first place to start looking.
