well got it looked at today and hopefully friday well put it on the hoist and start welding away but befreo then it needs a clean down where its gonna be welded coz of al the mud and grease and crap lol

and the passenger flooring pulled up so it doesnt melt away or nething like that lol

also ur car needs a whole lotta s**t done to it lol
gbox mounts, tailshasft ujs and bearing like u already said and ur brake pedal feels a bit like its got air in the system (or ur drums culd be screwed) but my first guess is air
steering feels shotty - i reckon theres play in some of the ball joints and tie rod ends etc. ill check it out when its on the 2 poster

also ur 4wd light flashes when the front wheels start slipping :s wierd lol

maybe i can answer some of these questions as alex isnt online right now and im bored.
he already knows about the tailshaft making noises. he has no thermostat which means yeh you wouldnt get a reading in only 4k's - it runs pretty cold.
ball joints are new, as are wheel bearings.
btw u shouldnt be slipping the front wheels :p the car is supposed to be taking it easy lol.

lol wasnt trying to but the tyres are practically down to slicks and one corner to pull out on is a b**ch in any car (almost impossible to go anywhere in wet lol)
specially when tis busy like when im coming home
thermostat isnt in in my wagon but still goes up one or 2 notches sometimes (depends how long is spent waiting on the corner to get out)

and im talking bout steering ball joints nothing to do with control arm ball joints and wheel bearings lol there is more than one ball joint on each wheel lol

The lib motor temp guage sensor reads WAY WAY lower than the factory ones. Basically if his guage got to half way then his motor would be WAY overheating. Which is why it's unlikely to move during a small trip.

Sounds like he is up for some big bucks to get that car on the road properly... how old are them tyres?

a second hand tailshaft that still has good unis wuld be the way to go coz his are badly screwed (cost max 800 my estimate to get them and centre bearing doen dont qoute me on that but)
if they break then theyll start flying around hitting nething body fuel tank etc (disastrous results)

most other things jsut seem more time to do em than costly parts

tyres hes probly been doin to many burnouts on lol

why is he not on aswell is he staking out my house making sure his wagons not getttin raped lol (for parts i mean)

now now now take it easy :D remember its been sitting doing NOTHING for about 4 or 5 months..

i know about all of them problems...yes that tyre is bald cos it frequently has smoke pouring off it...the brakes are fine, the steering is farked cos of the damage.

Meh tailshaft can wait a while.(i know its really bad) And yes the temp gauge barely moves, a quarter is standrad operating temp(when the ecu kicks the fan in) but it rarely reaches that point. ummmm whatelse...i know that car like the back of my hand..and its still my baby...lol..

stop saying the negatives! its like ramming a stake into my heart :(
