davies craig in a 10 or 12 inch are one of the best brands in aftermarket radiator fans. a few people are running them on their converted subes.

what about clearance between the engine and fans? Do you have enough room to fit davies craigs in ?

I do have a larger than normal radiator though. I am running some ebay fans in front of the radiator... one 10 inch still running off the radiator trigger switch and one 12 inch running off the EJ ECU. But like Matt said... only fits without the air con stuff.

I used to run the smaller 10 inch electrical factory fan found on some MY models with air con.... this did fit in between the engine and radiator however i wasn't happy running a 20 year old fan to cool my EJ.

Here are the links to the ones i run now... one 10 inch one 12 inch.

Davies Craig fans are the slimmest on the market i believe, and i have probably about 5mm clearance between the fan and the motor...

Alex is refering to an L series install... Jeff is talking about an MY conversion. Don't sound so shore on something you know nothing about Alex.. puts people on the wrong track... if your not sure what will fit then state that.

If Jeff runs out now and gets Davis Craig fans to fit infront of his radiator (without the air con condensor) then he is going to be pretty upset you guys talked him into them instead of the HEAPS cheeper fans on ebay that WILL fit.

Jeff if your putting fans between the engine and radiator on the MY i know for a FACT the radiator fan i mentioned before that comes factory on most MY models with air con factoy installed will fit. It is the slimmer electric fan with the black shroud. It will fit on the passanger side.

Other than that... im not sure 100% what will fit in-between there... and Alex definately doesn't.
