Nice trip thanks for posting the photos guys. I was sorry to miss out, I really need some time to put the wagon back together!

Serves the Hilux drive right. Carrying people in a tray without seatbelts is just plain stupid, it's incredibly dangerous. Family friends' son got killed doing that.

Thanks for the shots subi, looks like everyone had a great trip, even with a few mechanical bruises involved.

Matatak - every time i look at your car I see my own, even though they're slightly different models :) looks great in the sand, good to see the unlifted suby did ok, though I'm sure the DR helped (i'm only SR).

looking forward to getting my car back :| starting to miss it.

haha yer wuld lvoe to see ur car..im sure its in a bit better nick than mine but hopefully next tiem theres a wedge trip :)

the Low Range was used mainly when most of the bigger 4WDs wanted to take the beach route back but ud do fine everywhere else i went without it i reckon

beign unlfited is ok if u dont mind cringing evrytime it scrapes over the rocks and then there was the gettin air part on the dunes at lancelin lol
but i was more worried bout my FR tyre as it started scraping at the top when i hit a bump and suked as it was pretty frequent lol

also i dont no if it was mentioned but one of Subis Gbox crossmember bolts ratled off jsut as we left lancelin 4x4 area and luckily i was behind him and noticed it drop so i went back for it then he got it back in and no more problems from that.

nah not from what i've seen of the photos..

spent a few totally lost hours yesterday on ebay and other random places, there's a beautiful white lib in qld that i really want but the missus doesn't like automatics. i tend to agree... shame though.

my suby will just have to do the job for another good while.

lucky for that bloke you had your eyes peeled

yes i am very thankful that matty had his eyes peeled, because i didnt notice any clunks or rattles at all and i would of had to turn around if he didnt pick it up.
