Help Finding GL-10 1985 wagon Dashboard

Hello Everyone

Iam a big fan of Subaru cars for a long time now,Although they arent so popular here in Egypt.

And i recently bought a 1985 GL-10 wagon,The car is in a very bad shape and needs alot of parts and tuning,I intend to tune it to the maximum similary to what is done in "Pimp My Ride" show,Its so exciting so far,But the problem is that no one here sells parts of those old models anymore including the distributers of Subaru in Egypt since there isn't a sole agent for Subaru here.

So I would like anyone to help me find a good dealer who sells parts for this model specially the original dashboard since the one in the car belongs to another car,And it would be better if the dealer is an online seller but anyways he must be able to ship the parts to Egypt.

Also please tell me If there is a website for Subaru Japan in English so i could contact them and ask for those parts since the one i found is in japanese.

Welcome to the board Kaltawy

Is you car Left Hand Drive or Right Hand Drive? (I assume LHD in Egypt). The reason I ask is because L Series (aka GL-10) in Australia have the tachometer and speedomter swapped the other way to the LHD model.

Actually you are right,Its LHD and its also automatic,But i dont need the tachometer or the rest of the gauges since i have the originals and they are working fine,What i need is the complete fiber dashboard or panel wich holds the gauges,AC,switches,Casette,etc.
I hope this clarifies the idea.

There are quite a few separate panels on these cars - the one around the tape deck is different to the one with air con/switches (see above)

Yes this is exactly the part i need but i also need the panel on the right side.
Also the one on ebay is for 1992,I dont know if its going to fit

Anyway thanks for your efforts and looking forward any other ideas

Hi there and welcome Kaltawy.

The part you want for an LHD version will have to come from the US market but the centre bit with the radio in it can be from either an LHD or a RHD vehicle. and the 92 one will be the same as yours but the actual buttons will be different to the early model ones

Sorry to hear that you're having troubles with finding parts for subi's over there. I hope you find what your looking for in a parts supplier and if you need any help i'm sure there will be some one knocking around here that has some information or knows someone who does.
