Post by Gannon » Tue Jun 19, 2007 6:17 pm

Recieved my RS Liberty Water to Air intercooler today, man its gonna look sweet in my engine bay.

Only thing is, what is the best way to mount it?

If you have pics, please post them. And then i can get this baby chilling all my hot air!

Cheers

Gannon, Get a couple of mandrel bends from an exhaust shop to use for pipework then build the fitment around that, far easier than going fitment then pipework.

Please watch before posting!

DO make sure it is a plumb back style BOV (stock RS or similar) otherwise you will get backfiring when you come off the throttle, as the ECU thinks heaps of air is still making it to the engine and will enrichen the mix accordingly.

Plumb a line from just after the cooler back to near the turbo inlet, then run the vacuum actuator from the manifold (after the throttle body).
