At it again...

Post by BRUMBERTY » Tue May 29, 2007 4:06 pm

We have the beast running, we have specialists tuning it as we speak.
Its a very complicated and specific process and Will & Matt are kicking goals!

It is truely amazing what we can get this little electronic box to do, the parameters are seemingly endless.

So far, it controls the supercharger clutch, fuel and spark obviously, waterinjection solonoid and pump, thermo fans and boost control later.

Data logging, active instrumentation, it goes on and on.

A few teaser shots..

And just how many Subarus can you see here...

Ok, its running a little lean and I STILL HAVE NO BONNET!!
Little drama today with some overwriting of the firmware (or something like that).

Thats sorted and The boys have just headed off, with my thanks.

It looks like this is going to work just fine.
But it is so so tempting to take her for a run sans bonnet, its not easy cutting a flat scoop into a peaked bonnet.
And I have a craftsman doing it for me.
Must not rush the quality work.

New Dual range is in, L series Low Range and All.

Its time to meet some sand- ladies and gentlepeople.

Sorry Ben, Its been kept at my secret Bat cave!

Not quite ready for the full unvielling just yet, lots to put on and in
(Recaros, water tank + pump, flares and mudflaps, BONNET, etc)

I have taken my time with this one and tried not to rush stuff.
It's paying off as Will, John and Matt have performed some beautifuul installation work.

Logical layout, neat, protected..the loom is a beauty.

Its the little things getting taken care of now, properley, which will save me from hassles later on - beside the road on a dark night!

I will be posting a couple of photos soon and a little video of the running engine.
