Centre Rd Wreckers VIC - targa top brumby in yard

Post by El_Freddo » Fri May 11, 2007 1:57 pm

Hey all.

Anyone after a targa top brumby body there's one currently complete at centre rd wreckers.

It looks like a decent car and being a targa it was sad to see it there. It has some nice alloy side skirts of stirdy construction, canopy and one roof rack (with bars inside the canopy for the use of the roof rack) and 13 inch sunnies.

The gearbox has some oil hanging on the back of it and the motor is prob dead.
I thought of the WA and Qld boys doing an EJ convert on it.

Body looked straight and i couldn't see any visible rust.

Hope someone is after one and this is of some use.

Cheers

Get us a price.
Toyota 105 Series LandCruiser (that nobody on here wants to really hear about).
RX Touring Wagon - fitted out for 4WDing (currently collecting dust).
RX Project - will be road only at this stage (and currently taking way to long to finish).

here's there website
http://www.autowreckers.com.au/Home/Home.asp

Does someone from here work there? I noticed a subie there when I drove past the other year, I think it had stickers from memory.

edit:
I sent an email inquiring about the price, but youd probably be better off ringing them.

I'll post back any replys.

I dunno if anyone from here works there but i've seen a little navy blue leone L series with the "ausubaru.com" sticker across the rear windscreen last year, dunno who it was and i wasn't in my L at the time.

Address:
Centre Road Wreckers,
1602 Centre Road,
Springvale 3171.
VICTORIA, AUSTRALIA

Phone: (03) 9547 7377
Fax: (03) 9547 7955

Email: [email protected]

Above is straight from their website. I'm in bendigo and this joint is on the other side of Melbourne, takes me a good 2 an a half hours one way when avoiding city link (i'm a tight povo uni student)

I only visit if i really need anything (special trip) or when i'm already in town and have some time to kill.

And i post things like this thread when i see something that shouldn't IMHO be there (cos its too good to be wrecked etc).

Cheers

The navy L-series with stickers was me :). What car were you in El Freddo?

I saw that targa just today, and its still pretty complete. I recon you can have it for about $400.

I was in dad's country hack rangie, red in colour, with him. It was a while ago. We lent a dark haired fellow a socket from memory... Maybe you?

Might bump into you there sometime...

Catch ya later ;)
