Falling Bootlid

Post by Rabbitoh » Sun Apr 15, 2007 6:34 pm

Since I put the spoiler on my L series sedan the Bootlid will not stay up by itself any longer , does anyone know how to adjust it so it will stay up. My L series sedan in 1985 had a spoiler and did not fall when opened all the way.

Thanks guys.

does it have struts to hold it up or springs? either way you will have to get stronger gas struts or springs

I know on the Impreza if you install a spoiler the boot lid spring needs to be changed out, so it's probably the same on the L-Series. You might have to try and find a spring out of an RX
