LOL! Scottys old RX! Been a while since I've seen that video!! Looks like it was around the time I went for a spin in it, was running that FMIC and a VF22 on an EJ207 from memory. It was also running a 5spd AWD box and that was his last run before converting to RWD. RWD lost him a good second over the 1/4.

Last I saw the car was painted black with drilled hubs, blingey wheels and an RX checker motif vinyl and tint job up the side of it.

So yeah, no longer a sleeper. I'll see if I can hunt down any more info on it.

did some pretty good burnouts the few times i saw it down at the drags though. Only 4wd car i've seen do a good burnout there. But it do better after it was RWD

Well there was a 600+hp R33 GTR that did some good 4wd skids a few years back too...

Scott's first Snakepit RWD burnout resulted in a wall incident and a radiator end tank blowing clean off. Good skid though... I'll never forget what the commentator said:
"This is Scott in his Subaru, let's see if he's got the horsepower for a good skid. 1st, 2nd..... 3rd? Well he's definitely got some ponies.... and an LSD! Both wheels people!!"

LOL poor bloke couldn't beleive his eyes!

Hey don't be insulting kwijmbo's mighty coupe!

Some day I hope to go for a ride in it. Although I might have to build another EJ20 turbo GLF between now and then for him to realise what he's missing.... :P
