Thought I'd add my two bobs worth........

26 years in the Army. Started as an apprentice mechanic, straight from year 10, just before my 16th birthday. After about 8 years of being on the tools, I tranfered to Medical Corps as a Physical Training Instructor. That was a great job, and best way to be in the services. However, injuries caught up with me and I thought I would try my hand in the commissioned ranks. Still in Medical Corps and am now the OHS / Safety Manager for one of the brigades.

Finally starting to feel I've done enough time in the green machine and looking for other opportunities.
Willie.

Been at Macca's for the past 2 years and 8 months... worked solidly for 2 years before boss decided it was time to give me no hours. Attended a crew meeting on monday, they had to add me to the employee attendance sheet (can't wait for my three year badge :p).

Other than that, pizza delivery in Eaglehawk friday and saturday nights (can't wait to have ruby scoo back with me for that)

Casual work at a local vineyard near my folks place in lancefield, coming up on ten years, trying to fit it around uni work.

Proffessional uni student, i'm going to retire this job at the end of the year and move into something that pays better (free internet is good though).

Currently also looking for a job closer to uni...

this thread is fascinating... should be a sticky

i can't even remember what i was searching for when i found it :)

so anyway.. BUMP...

oh and while i'm here i spose i should say i'm a programmer/webmonkey

this thread really does hammer home how universal the Suby appeal is. Hell we even have a psych in our midst. Perhaps he could one day give us an analysis on why we're all addicted.
