Forester Towbars

Post by maddog » Tue Feb 27, 2007 7:17 pm

Hi All,
Can anyone tell me if a towbar for a MY03-04 Forester will fit a MY98 Forester?
Hope it does!
Thanks for any input!

If it is a Hayman Reese Brand to bar (Hayman Reese is a brand NOT a style of tow bar) They will fit 1997+
Part numbers: - R1908 (Class 4 50x50mm removable hitch), RL1909 (Class 3 40x40mm removable hitch) & 1910 (Class 2 permanent mount)

Hey Mr X - the dude says it's a 'Genuine Subaru Towbar' but he has no idea of the manufacturer...any idea what brand Subaru uses? (surely they don't actually make em?) Thanks!

Hmmm Genuine is made by Hayman Reese - BUT they mount slightly differently.
I can’t guarantee that they will fit up correctly... Give your local Subaru dealer a call & see what they have to say.
