I am having an affair with a younger Brumby

Post by BRUMBERTY » Mon Feb 26, 2007 3:06 pm

The replacement has arrived.

She is younger, she may be just 1800cc but her centre diff locks, her low is really low and her tyres are tall.

Ooh... she is all about what got me hooked the first time.

We have done 950kms together now
(Mildura to Melbourne is the most boring drive I have done for a long time)

She may be just 4 speed but her linkages are SO TIGHT, and no rattles from anywhere...there is a big difference between 190,000 kms and 340,000 kms.

No rust.

All the mechanicals are due for swapping in a month or so, or sooner if I get sick of the tappit and pushrod noises.

Groover loves what Rob has done to the tray sides
(smoothing and welding flat steel on the tops).....no more nail ripping hang ups on leaping in and out.

Here she is,

EJ22 Dual range AWD lifted, widened and much happier now thanks very much.

1991 L Series wagon, white and perfectly normal apart from the ticking, no I think that is normal.

Jet boat..webbered EA81 with a hybrid tin dish welded and glued to it.

join the " I got two Brumbys club ".

I like the raised floor idea. Good for the pooch, and lock away storage facility

Nice one Dude.

I do think you have too many sets of big wheels. I'll do you a cheesy quaver and take, say 4 off you.

Congrats on the new additions too.

Ciao.
