Alternator alternatives

Anyone kno of any alternators that can bolt up to a standard ea82 as the mitsubishi one i have atm cannot charge the battery with the stereo cranking and the spotties on!

Depends on what u want to pay? Early nissan patrol ones will bolt up and are about 100 Amp however will cost around $400.

The alternator off the XT6 i think is good for 90A.

There was a alternator that the yanks were using on the USMB, i think it was GM. Over 100A

I think there is a datsun alt that fits with little mods too.

yea the common one i heard of was the GM swap but it took some minor modding

Most alternator experties should be able to match something up to suit.

The GM one would be an AC DELCO unit.
'03 Forester X, stock standard for now.
